laura and i went to the west end this afternoon for some thrift store action. there were many treasures to be found including a pair of "made in england" brown, mod ankle boots (awesome!), a little yellow owl radio (already tuned to cbc!), an amazing puzzle of a quilt (springbok!), cute earings, a cashmere sweater (!), and a book titled 'boring postcards' (from phaidon!). all for less than $20. i think i'll wear my new boots out tonight.
